So if the tasting room won’t be open until a month after the first release, will IAW brews only be available at local bars? If so, which ones? Will you be making dock sales – bottles, growlers, or cornies?

Hey Brian:

I enjoyed the article, “What’s Brewing on Rosselle Street?” in Sunday’s Times-Union. Although I’m not a connoisseur of fine beer or wine, I thorough enjoy a cold beer (or four).

I was interested in your description of the type of building you will need to expand your brewery, as I own a similarly suited building. It is located on the corner of A. Phillip Randolph Blvd. and Albert Street, near the Veteran’s Arena. Billy’s Place, as we call it, is a two story warehouse, built in the late 1930′s, with high, authentic bead board ceilings. We are currently using it as a Jaguar and college football tailgating and parking facility (can park 100 cars). The warehouse has been transformed into a “party room/sports bar” atmosphere that we occasionally rent out for company parties, dinners, family/class reunions, etc. It truly is a unique venue that must be seen to be fully appreciated.
