Intuition is excited to announce the release of State Line Peach IPA in cans for the first time. It is the first release in our new seasonal canning series, which will bring popular taproom favorites to six-pack cans.

“State Line has been a taproom favorite for years,” said owner and founder Ben Davis. “With the release coinciding with the Florida-Georgia game, it made sense to choose State Line as our first seasonal can.”

State Line is a copper-colored ale with a juicy natural peach flavor, layered over four varieties of hops.

Intuition worked with Jacksonville artist Carson Skinner to design a can that embraced themes associated with both states. The artwork depicts the iconic Main Street Bridge set within a Georgia peach.

“We wanted to have some fun with the seasonal can artwork,” said Chief Operating Officer Brad Lange.  “Although the cans will still have the classic Intuition look and feel, the artwork will be more experimental and colorful.”

State Line was born from the idea of brewing a beer that showcases a regional ingredient. “Here in the southeast, peaches are a treat for the long hot months of summer,” said Andrew Cattell, head brewer. “As you sip, your palate is met with bright hop flavors and the juiciness of fresh peach. The finish is clean with citrus and resin hop flavors balancing out the underlying peach.”

The seasonal canning program is an opportunity to deliver popular favorites to Intuition fans in a new format. While there are long-term plans to introduce the seasonal cans to a wider retail market in the greater Jacksonville region, they will initially be sold exclusively in our Bay Street taproom.

The next beer to be featured in the seasonal canning series, Wheelhouse Brown Ale, is set for a December release.
